Excursions for young and old
The province of Alicante is home to several theme parks for the whole family. Below we only mention the parks within a short distance from Villa Maya.
Water Parks
Aquapark Flamingo
Torrevieja (10km)
Aquapark Flamingo is a smaller water park, suitable for families with young children. You can enjoy the sun and swimming pools. There are three large water slides, a smaller baby pool and a larger pool. Open from June to September. Carrefour and the Habaneras shopping center are nearby.
Aquopolis
Torrevieja (13 km)
In Aquopolis Torrevieja you will find attractions for all ages: if you want adrenaline shots, go to the “Alta Emoción”. The midrange is designed for fun lovers and will please both adults and youngsters. Children will have a great time at the attractions for the little ones.
Quesada aquapark
Quesada (6km)
Inaugurated in 1986 as a second water park of the Valencian Community and Spain.
The attractions are spread over 21,000 square meters. There are water rides and slides. In addition, there is a large lawn with umbrellas, a bit away from the bustle of the park.
Animal park
Rio safari
Elche (28km)
Rio Safari is home to more than a hundred different animal species, some of which are under conservation programs. The zoo is part of a network of European parks that actively contribute to the conservation of endangered species. The domain also has a water park with swimming pools: splash park.
